Color Renovation!

Stampin' Up is doing a major color renovation. I am so excited for the new colors- they are updated and oh so cute! Quite a few of the most popular In Colors from the past few years are returning, and there are some brand new additions, too. Check out the list of retiring colors below so you can stock up on your faves before they are gone (don't forget cardstock and ink refills)! I know, there are a lot, but don't freak out- you'll be as excited as I am when you see what Stampin' Up has in store for us!

Colors retiring on June 30th, 2010:
Pink Passion
Pixie Pink
Pale Plum
Orchid Opulence
Lovely Lilac
Lavender Lace
Almost Amethyst
Bordering Blue
Brocade Blue
Ballet Blue
Brilliant Blue
Taken with Teal
Glorious Green
Handsome Hunter
Sage Shadow
Mellow Moss
Green Galore
Gable Green
Barely Banana
Yoyo Yellow
Ruby Red
Cameo Coral
Blush Blossom (marker will still be available)
Creamy Caramel
Close to Cocoa
Going Gray

And for those of you who are looking to use up retiring colors, rather than stock up, here is one idea: I used a bunch of Creamy Caramel (12 sheets) and Close to Cocoa (4 sheets) cardstock to make this door decoration for Matthew's 3rd grade teacher for Teacher Appreciation week.

Decor Elements

This is my first try with the new decor elements. They are hanging in my daughter's bedroom. I love them! We put some butterflies on her mirrored closet doors, too. I have plans to do some different ones on the walls in my entry and study, too, but I have to get those walls painted first, so it might be a while...

Hawaii Scrapbook Page

Here is the title page of my Hawaii trip with Dustin for our 10th anniversary. I loved how it turned out. The rest are equally cute, and I am so glad to have them done. I am all caught up before baby, what an accomplishment! Now what will be my motivator, since he's our last one?! If I'm bored later in the week and I haven't had him yet, maybe I'll post the others...

Cute and Easy Gift Bags

Here is another gift-packaging idea. You can get a package of 3 white gift bags from Stampin' Up for only $2.95. Then you just decorate the front with cardstock, Designer paper, ribbon, stamps or whatever you want! If you want to show off your coordinating card, like the 2 bags on the sides, you just cut the flap off a clear envelope and glue the envelope on the bag to hold the card. Use Sticky Strip to adhere the cardstock/paper to the bag and the clear envelope as well, so they don't fall off.

Christmas Tree Ornaments

These are the On-board Ornaments I made last year. They were so much fun to make and I love my tree now! I never posted the pictures last year so I thought I would now.

Season of Friendship

Okay, this has got to be my new favorite set. I have been waiting for a cute tree stamp to come out, and I love this one! It is great for cards of any season, framed art, gift wrap, etc. So cute and so easy! The set is in the Holiday Mini and is only available until January 18th, so if you love it as much as I do, let me know and I'll order it for you! If you want me to make you one of these, it is $15 (it is about 5 x 12 inches). There is a black frame or a brown one with gold studs.
